WELCOME to SimplyCarics, my Lifestyle Blog!

Fiftysomething GenXer SimplyCarics

I’m a GenXer who fully embraces life and all it has to offer.

It can be overwhelming to balance the needs of family and work. As a result, I became more purposeful about how I use my precious time. Eventually I began to take note of all the learnings and thought of how to make use of them.

That’s how Simply Carics began.

Sharing Experiences

Having that in mind, I will share experiences about travel, challenges of keeping fiteating healthy, trying new things. At the same time, I hope to learn from your stories and insights so we can build a community of like-minded individuals, inspiring one another to be our best selves.

Live Life to the Fullest

My lifestyle blog aims to inspire you to practice self care so you can have the energy to do what you love.

Because at the end of the day, you cannot give what you don’t have.

I’m sooo glad to see you’re enjoying this new way of passion sharing. Even happier that you actually started this BLOG from scratch. You’ve always had it in you and you probably should’ve done this a long time ago. “Better late than never” they say, but the warmth of your experiences, views, insights and musings were just perfectly seasoned by time. The struggles you may have left unsaid, make all of these even more admirable. “Fall six times, get up eight” I say. This is your time to really go “Down from the hill, Down to the world.” Continue sharing happiness. Life has been such a blessing having you around. – – – And THANK YOU, by the way.

Hi Jay! I am happy you wrote here and shared your thoughts about the blog. You’re welcome … and thank YOU too!
I like what you said about perfectly seasoned by time; I guess it all needed that exact moment to be written and shared. Adventures, lessons learned, travels, triumphs and failures are all part of being human and it just seems a waste if I am not able to write them. We all learn from our own experiences and others re-telling theirs. Stay safe and be well!

Ricarics!!!! I’m so loving your blog … so full of life and always a ray of sunshine where you are. I definitely look forward to the day we can go traveling together. I’d be very glad to be your interpreter where I could be of use.

Been following your socmed posts and I’m so glad you now have a full-scale blog to give more details of your travels, or even just your wonderful gourmet everyday bites.

It’s amazing how you manage to turn even the simplest of things to delightful experiences. We need more people like you, Ricarics, by then, this world will definitely be a much better place.

Keep shining and inspiring. Big hug!

Mi amigo Miguelito1 What wonderful words – such a happy way to open my blog tonight 🙂 Thank you for motivating me. It really is such a freeing thing to express and describe what I believe should be shared — it makes my experiences and learnings all the more precious to me. Yes you will defnitely be our interpreter and I will definitely love to be your tour guide. Oh what fun we will have. Until that day, please be well and keep safe!

Thank you for sharing your life’s learnings through this blog. Your distilled thoughts surely make me reflect about my own experiences.

I feel like it’s 1997 again. I am feeling inadequate and ill-equipped as I step in your Speech class. You say something. My fears start to lessen. I take one deep breath and say what’s on my mind. You listen, you validate…you teach and inspire.

This blog amplifies that. You get to spread all the love and inspiration in daily doses for the virtual community.

There are plenty of people who need this. Thank you from all of us who you inspired in the classroom. Thank you from all of us who you continue to inspire out in the real world.

Hey Pepper! Thank you. Your kind words just strengthened my resolve to write and continue this new new journey. I felt the need to bring my thoughts and learnings in a different medium. As a fellow teacher, you know that nothing inspires us more than to hear even just ONE person say “I got that” or ” Yeah, i learned or did that coz of what you mentioned…”
It’s all about being and feeling that connection. THANKS Pepper!

It was so nice working with you. Our time in PAL was a blast. The events or activations we had were the best. Thank you for supporting our ATeam (Activations Team) in PAL.
